I am gutted, a foolish moment :(
I've got the renault roof rack and thule 532 carriers.
The sportlines were cheaper, I got them just before the price increase a few weeks ago. And I don't think the MF setup improves over these unless you're a hardcore track day hero. So for me this is a...
Been looking into this this evening.
My plan so far is:
Yorkshire lot meet at Woodall at 8am, set off by 8:15am
We meet the EM lot at LFE at 9:00-9:15, set off by 9:30
Arrive at Gaydon for the 10:30 opening time.
Would be good for the NW guys that expressed interest to join us at...
Refitted front sachs with new sportline springs. Also set up my front camber to -1.5 deg.
All by myself, in the rain, after a big pub dinner and a pint.
Is vimeo not working properly tonight?
Keep getting Sorry we could not load message, and when it does play it isn't brilliantly smooth even though it has buffered up well beyond that point :S
No RJ45 - well it's annoying, but it wouldn't be that much of a hassle to use the adaptor.
No optical - it seems rare I use mine these days, and slimline external DVDRW drives are dirt cheap these days and small enough to sling in the car for the odd time you need it.
No lock - yep...
Finally got my Sachs back today, so built them up with the sportlines I got from Kam.
Also put a coat of ACF-50 on to help with the rust.
Then had to fit them, in the rain. I was determined to get it done today as I had booked the day off special.
I set the camber myself to -1.5deg...
I'll let you know about the food meet, my car is still off the road but hopefully will be back together tomorrow all being well.
I thought the cruise was on the last Sunday too, so we should be good for this :)
lol, maybe. As Ryan is up for it too. Depends if my car is back together tomorrow or not.
This is a concern, I'm camping at silverstone for the F1 thursday onwards so don't want to be keeling over in pain while everyone else tries to work out how my (humongous) tent goes up lol.
Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news
This.
Aslong as it's a good flappy paddle box, which it should be these days, then I'd definitely go for it.
Best of both worlds, gears when you think you're Sebastien Loeb on your local A road, auto for the rest of the time. Gears are s**t for town...
I took mine to Wales for a week that month too as I was off. Most people look back at paying a lot for insurance and regret it but tbh I don't, I'd pay it again, it was well worth it.
When I bought my RB I was going to wait a month until my renewal before using it as it was about £250 to swap my current policy over for that last month.
2 days before I picked it up I called my insurance and whacked it on the credit card lol
Ian holdsworth, lives by me. Tidy trophy too!
tbh the good driving roads aren't pictured, the road over the hill from the viaduct is amazing, couldn't shake Hugh's R though which is an absolute beast. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't on piston heads last night :o
