My Silver MK3 TCE Progress Thread

@ Essex - Nah not too difficult mate, having two people helps though as one can pull the trim while the other pushes the clips with a screwdriver....just be careful with the paint. The ones one the side, towards the rear, you have to go inside the speaker compartment and push the clips out...

Well I thought it is about time I started my progress thread as I'm about to make some big changes. So far I have spent time toning the car down from what a previous owner had done to it, but now is the time where i get to do what i want :) So this is how it looked when i bought it, I...

My MK3 Clio Progress Thread (Non Sport)

If you can afford..... get coilys.....cant wait to get mine :) if not, i think 45mm spring would be the best compromise as these look like 4x4's with their factory stance. Colour coding makes such a difference as well, got mine back the other day and it looks so much smarter!
  17. ksykes23

    show us your mk3's

Looks low enough mate, will have a better stance if you space the wheels out. Thats probs whats making it look a little higher. Get them nearly flush with the arches and it will look mint.

    16" renault turini's on a mk3?

Lol might save me buying spacers. I think the trophy 16" is et38.5 which should slot in perfectly. Might have to hit photoshop to see what i can do
  23. ksykes23

    16" renault turini's on a mk3?

So et16 wheels would sit closer to the outside of my car than wheels between 30-40
  24. ksykes23

    16" renault turini's on a mk3?

They would be perfect if they were 4x100....also, bit of a noob question but if the offset on them wheels is et16 and the standard non sport clio is 35-40....that would mean that they would sit a lot closer to the arches?
  25. ksykes23

    16" renault turini's on a mk3?

Really? How that make sense lol not complainin if it does :)
  26. ksykes23

    16" renault turini's on a mk3?

Hahah thats some bad luck mate. Yeah i see what you mean mate. Will have a scour on ebay. Do you reckon my drop will be limited with 17's? Im crap with wheels, cant make a decision lol just one of them things that i want to get perfect :/

    16" renault turini's on a mk3?

Was just wondering peoples thoughts on what 16" Renault trophy speedlines (anthracite) would look on a non-sport mk3? Havent seen this setup anywhere so wasnt sure if they would be too small or not? I would personally prefer to pop 16s on, but would like your guys opinions first :) also if u...
