On a megane scenic, pipe runs from condenser around sub frame upto bulkhead. Renault quote 6 hrs to do the job, as so much has to be remove as its a metal pipe. No gas in the system now all leaked out!

Getting second hand pipe could be an option but then 6 hours labour to replace it. Think ill try to fit o' ring and clean joint. If this don't work she'll have to drive with windows down or buy a little fan to sit on the dash.

You used it before? But not going to spend £500 on getting it repaired in the first place, this is one of 2 options the next is to try and reveal the joint, if it come apart and looks corroded.

Anyone used these? If so they any good cars got a joint leaking and new pipe is £200 from renault and 5-10 days wait as coming from France only. Then a quoted 6 hour job to replace. Car only lasted 5 days after a regas, that wasn't picked up?
