Welcome aboard. All the help you'll need is on here, just ask. Your car looks very tidy, ly in the sun is amazing. Get yourself along to CSF. https://www.cliosport.net/threads/cliosport-festival-2019-book-tickets-now.822279/page-4#post-11724699
If a machine shop can't figure it out from a 2d drawing I wouldn't trust them with they job! I've had some really s**t and complicated multi page drawings to work from but always figured it out. Never thought a 3d model was necessary to get the job done.
There's a detailing section where the shiny lovers hang out. There will probably be plenty of people who can advise you what products work best on liquid yellow in there. The graphics are the biggest problem as they are quite thick and look pants with the edges covered in polish.
Welcome aboard. There's a few from Yorkshire on here and if you go anywhere near Leeds you'll probably wend up in the "clios spotted in Leeds" thread?.
Good choice of car BTW.
Those caliper brackets don't look good at all! Good job you played it safe and got some new ones. I wonder how many more are out there like that?
I could have sworn you said you were thinking of selling up earlier in the year? Still enjoying they car then?
I've spent about £2.5k on mine in 3 years and 28k miles. That includes belts dephasee and waterpump. Another aux kit, sump gasket and arp rod bolts. All the front suspension refreshing, all new engine mounts and steering rack bushes. B14 coilovers, turini's and refurb, modified scenic shifter...
Where does he get work done on it, Dieppe? What a f**king mong. If he found a decent mechanic who didn't shaft him bone dry he might be able to afford a f**king hair cut.
And wtf does he do to the brakes? He must drive with his foot on the brake constantly. Someone give him @George@RTR_Parts...
There are still good cars out there. A well written advert is a good sign the seller isn't a mong. If it looks mint but the description is "Blue 182, well fast, mot dun" I'd not waste any more time on it?.
And to converse with utter fucktards. Unfortunately now 1*2's are cheap they have fallen into the hands of some prize spastics so buying one is all the more difficult. I'd buy off here if at all possible!
Yep top mount bearing fooked. If it can't rotate freely it basically screws the spring around a bit and the noise you hear is that releasing. Get a pair of new top mounts on there.
