Yeh, it's the worse job on a 172. I welded bar to the top of the bolt head so the bolts lock against the manifold so you only have the lower nut to worry about :)

Motorspares sell them apparently. I re-use kits lol, last one the washer had broke down & that was the cause! If your struggling I'll come help you fit a new one if you get one, I don't have any spares now!

My previous ph1 had done 125k, was fine. Didn't drink oil & was still a well paced car. Current ones on 104k & the same applies, though I can't see this one making 125k due to future build

Depends on which cat iirc, if you have a twin sensor cat it's about 2" longer than the single sensor cat. But yes, it's only the centre that changes Due to the cat length

Door lock/ unlock is easy. Hazard, like I said we got it working but not 100%. Airco I have no idea, @Djw John might be able to help!

The conversion isn't hard at all, making all the buttons work is. Mine isn't fully functional like for like. But then mine is missing several bits so it doesn't bother me. The hazard switch is the worst bit, @AlexW told me how to do it. It half worked but we've never actually spent any time...

Oh and I removed the extra 5mm spacers fitted all round. Its back to being perfect now. 20mm front/10mm rear.

Had some time today so aerocatched the front bumper, lost the pins for mine so purchased some fake catches to borrow the pins. Bit of a marmite thing, but the bumper holds on properly now. Well kinda, needs some fine tuning to align it a little better along the wheel/arch side. Messing around...

Are you going to be pretty select over who you sell it to scott? as in, if you think they wont look after it then you wouldnt sell it to them? I could never buy something like this, im to destructive for a start! plus It wouldnt stay clean lol

Ive done it, I wouldnt recommend it. Its easier to just jack it up and pop a stand under it, you can easily do it with only one side lifted.

Shame your selling! But it was going to come sooner or later, i mean theres only so much you can do! I look forward to the next project!
