Thanks for that huge response @SharkyUK - i'll measure my room later to see if 50inch is necessary. Saying that, when i play the xbox I like to sit quite close.. about 1.5m currently with my 32inch ha.

It's going to be a bedroom TV.. albeit a big room. Mainly Films on Netflix and COD on Xbox One. I don't even know the difference between 4k, HDR etc.. so i'm just looking for the best bang for buck really. I'm coming from a 32' LG which was bought 8 years ago, so will be a big step up.

Looking ti purchase a tv in the next week or so. Budget of around £500.. prefer it to be cheaper though obviously. Wanting a 50inch or so. I've no idea on tech etc so if anyone could advise of a decent TV, id appreciate it...
Yes.. exactly, the important part imo. I think any backstreet mechanic can fit a set of cams, let alone a mechanic who specialises with clios and has a huge amount of positive feedback on here and FB.. just like ED do.

I think the OP is fair enough.. maybe not £40, but the staff sounds a bellend and could have gone out of his way to help instead of talking rubbish.
