Sorry... but personally owning a dCi 100 and also driving a dCi 65 on a regular basis, I can safely say that they are not depressingly slow.
You have to take the car for what it is. Great MPG, also has enough power for safe overtaking and get you out of trouble when needed.
When driving the 65...
Pick up a screen at the local scrap yard?
Then get someone to remove it and put it in your car?
Cost me £20 for the windscreen and then £50 to remove and fit. Jobs a good one.
My dCi 100 is only £100 less to insure than the 182 with modifications.
Bizarre really. Plus I've only owned the 182 for 4 months and had the dCi for 3+ years.

As said, cone filters do nothing on the dCi lump.
Better of going for a K&N Panel Filter for only £40.
Remap is roughly £200-300
That will sell well, dCis hold their money well due to low tax and high mpg, then the sporty look also.
