Although the screws under the steering wheel don't need to be undone as the top just pulls away, if you pull it up from the wheel side.

You have to remove the dash and the red plug clips into the back where the old steering control is. (behind the radio display) The jack plugs into the Sony radio, and the +ve is taken from the radio power supply. Didn't you get any instruction with this item?

Re: Any point upgrading to performance slotted brake disks if standard ones are okay? Get some brembo disc plain discs, they are cheap and upto the job easily just decide on your pads.

My 172 was an import. Renault may pay towards the cost of the CAT. They didn't when my steering wheel bearing collapsed.

In a Clio all you need is an AMP, a set of comp in the front 5", and a sub in the boot. Then disconect the rears. Please don't use 6 x 9 they aren't very welcome on here. LOL
