just reading a thread on there saying that ordering has now closed... not sure how true it is but i do know it was only a matter of time... let us know how you get on
Steve@wests on here or the rs forum
Alex Levington on the rs forum
Maz also seems to have got a good deal from a dealer in Scotland apparently... there was a post on Daz2427's thread about him getting an R27 with info
The R27 isn't as 'raw' as say the Trophy... yes its more refined I guess which i quite liked... as said it seems to grip and grip and grip, and you've also lost the torque steer feel too
The R26 is a bit more raw though, and with the turbo and LSD is also a great handling car... all depends...
I've gone from a Trophy and FF182 to an R27... only done a couple of hundred miles but so far enjoying it... was planning on getting a few more miles under it's belt before starting to consider making any comparisons though.
but to be fair, it feels very planted handling wise, shorter gear...
Xenons inc cornering lights, Climate inc auto lights/wipers
I can fold the mirrors in by hand rather than paying Renault 100 quid for the privilege ;) lol
Well after much chopping and changing of mind since selling my Trophy back in July, we finally got a new car today... introducing our new R27, bought from Steve@wests - top price, backed up by top quality service... totally recommend anyone in the market for a new car to contact him
Well...
Josh.... :nono:
we're bacl, will give you a bell tomorrow and see how it looks in real life... i have a funny feeling though you will have already raised it by the time we see you ;)
only seems like 2 mins ago i remember reading about you asking what was involved with a 36k service as you were considering selling... is the car a keeper now or you gonna replace it for an R27?
yup, we go on our hols tomorro, but could try organise a Dunstable area mini-meet for the Sunday 21st if you're happy to do the organising? We get back on the 17th so can finalise things then, but we'll defo be up for it and sure Josh's arm can be twisted :)
heard nothing from her since she looked at it... so who knows. she was very young tho tbh so wouldnt be surprised if the reality of expensive insurance put paid to that dream for her
looking good... it's great to see a few tidy sunflowers in the club with owners tastefully improving them... how low is that now over standard?
I like the PH1 sidestrips colour-coded... nice colour theme going on there too :approve:
Recently purchased set of alloys from Bubbles and a set of coilovers fitted today - sure he'll be along to fill in more info shortly! Front is a bit low and prob needs raising slightly but otherwise great
Pictures aren't too great as they're under artificial lights, but we'll get some decent...
