eeeeekk i have been cloned then - T23 is currently on retention waiting to be put onto this Trophy.....
quite possibly could have been any one of the others though - T2, T22, T26, T28, T29 are all definitely registered on cliotrophy
i can't capture the dents in a photo - but sadly they're deep enough to be more than 5 mins work..... the guy i have spoken to is highly recommended and will get the dents out - but needs to do it from inside the car and remove the roof lining in order to get to the dent :dapprove:
you're not wrong..... :dapprove:
does anyone know how easy roof linings (front half only) come off? i have conflicting information as to whether they are heavily glued all over or just round the edges.
any help appreciated! :)
i just don't understand..... :S
its red not pink, even with my rose tinted glasses on it's red ;)
nice photography skills though, come down South and do me some good pictures of my Trophy? :D
not sure of his name, he clocked my car and we got talking and then he mentioned about a mate with a tt engined clio and i made the connection. i'm crap with names as well! :o
yes it was a long drawn out claim in my opinion (10 days to get a decision on what would happen with the car - repair or total loss), then a further 7 days to get me the paperwork to complete for the claim..... even though i was on the phone to them at least once a day...... having got my...
yes when i phoned up for my claim the woman in the call centre got herself in a right tizz by telling me she was calling from elephant, bell and then realised i was a admiral customer :S
yeah i'm up Bideford Green area. was chatting to one of your mates that works down Buttles a couple of months back as well. his name evades me though!
Oh and Amie (Bubbles) wants to know if you'll let her have a drive of your Elise ;)
if you can give me contact details (by pm if you like) that'll be appreciated..... it's not a massive crease/dent, but you know how much the roofs flex even when you're just washing/drying the car!
take a look here fella - http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=190053 - kinda gives the explanation on everything :(
as soon as i have the logbook back for FX55 i'll be getting the old plate back on it :approve:
Elise as a run around - nice!!
yeah me and Bubbles have...
ahh so that's your new ride then.... saw you selling the last beast but never saw what you ended up buying afterwards.
the Trophy was my new one, the liquid 182 was Bubbles.
my first spotted and i've only had this one a week :D
cheers for the replies guys..... will give it a clean at the weekend and assess the full extent of the damage and then make some calls and see what can be done. appreciate the quick replies though :star:
i was with admiral and they cancelled my policy the very same as they have yours when they decided the car was a write off. gutting part for me was that i was 6 weeks away from another years no claims...... fight them over the money..... i had a bit of a battle getting them to move quickly though
anyone know of anyone that can do this?
some monkey (drunk i am guessing) mistook my trophy for a public footpath and walked over the car. three footprints and a small rippled crease (about a foot and a half long) in my roof.
i'm based in bedfordshire, but happy to travel...
