Nope, no copper grease :(
Because i'd back to blacked it a few times, and it just slowly fades again. The part was £5 and it was relatively easy to do. Freshly painted spoiler and the wiper cover should tidy the back up nicely!
I had a speedo sensor problem, bounced up and down, on/off.. new sensor and works now.
Surges too! Only slightly, like you'd notice you'd gone a bit faster, and then notice your speedo is suddenly working!
The prev. owner had it painted to match the car, and it looked great when I first bought it, but over the last couple of years it has worsened and 'crazed'. So it's currently at the bodyshop being painted.
Dropped my spoiler off to the painters this morning. A small update but one ive wanted to do for ages because no amount of back to black was bringing it back to life...
Bought a cheapo ball joint splitter from ebay to remove the wiper, which didnt do anything! After £11.99 down halfords, this...
Kind of thread related. Got my rear wiper off with the ball joint splitter, easy.. but this plastic bit, do these plastic points need to come out/off for my new one to go in? Tried pulling out with my hands, need some grips.. or any other tips?
Mine is the white plug in the back of the brake light, from that is the orange and black wire,through the spoiler and connects to wires under the tape.. no idea why, but makes sense for ease of removal etc.
