Yea bearing races shatter pretty easy, saying that unless you crank the grub screw silly tight it shouldnt do any damage...
Splash of green loctite on there would have held it tighhhttt as foook.
Really, mine has a yellow spring, and only did it when the engine was cold with the standard airbox..

If you stick a blue spring in, itll flutter more
Never heard a midbox chop so cant comment on the noise, but its alot easier chop than the backbox, due to not needing any hangers making, and the pipe is straight...
If you chop the midbox, you wont have any whistle noise, which I lovee...
I never noticed any difference with the recirc valve...

Keep chopping bit outs, the strip under the drivers feet is pretty heavy, theres a lump of iron under the engine mount on the inner wing, the glass weighs a ton...
Id like to chop the origional seat mounts out and get rid of the subframes, but would rather spend the £100 for...
