Always sad to see a car you've loved drive away. It looked bloody good doing it though!
Definitely consider a 172 cup. Make it mint and keep it standard and your onto a winner.
@Mr. Plums did you ever get to actually enjoy it or did you always have that slight worry in the back of your mind?
And yeah, what's the next plum wagon gonna be?
I got a set of these not long ago. Did the job.https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F132225343074
I also have this socket set which is also pretty handy sometimes...
I think the concensus on that conversion was just buy better pads for the clio calipers. Remember that nobody ever tracked an espace so although you have more pistons you'll inevitably have a worse pad material gripping your discs.
That looks like a much better way to learn how the car skids than the early drift mode youtube videos! Ford should include a day like that with RS sales, although that wouldn't keep their repair department very busy
If I were you and wanted rid of the car I would strip the turbo kit off and sell it separate. You'd have more chance of selling the car as a mint standard 182 than hi boosted. Just remember to omit clioturbo from any description though!
