Yes mate can put cables on/off by hand now. Put the positive back on after just doing my wherl and its perfect, been for a run, no intermittent battery power issues, so ive got no idea! Hopefully its sorted..
Is that plastic positive thing needed/vital? Cant see any wire crimpage. Last night when I broke down i just had to poke around where the top 13mm bolt was and it gave power so ive tightened it and no luck..
Driving a long, car suddenly feels like it hit the limiter for a split second and the green gearstick light and eml came on, then went, all normal. Went in shop, came out, key in, no dash lights, nothing. Left it, then it started. 10 seconds later it did the limiter thing again and cut out, and...
Reminds me, I saw a brand new Aston martin (no idea on model, but had big/long rear lights haha), bloke was obviously leaving work and just hammered it through the industrial estate, sounded brilliant.
Finally got round to kind of sorting this. Should be booked in for after christmas. Had some laughable quotes of £400 etc. One bodyshop said can't you go down a scrapyard and take a spoiler from one of those. 'Son, this is a cup spoiler i'll have you know..'
