The downstream one is the one infront of the cat (not the one plugged into the cat) John - the Lambda was £66 from GSF, a sore one but by far and away the cheapest option, Renault wanted £118 for one and ECP £88

Changed the down stream lambda. MPG shot up to 32-33 around town and anything over 40 on the motorway... Happy days :D

Normally aspirated engines are a pain in the arse to see gains without putting serious cash into.

Same as mine, Clio's are generally rough from start up especially in colder weather!

The 172 is the cheaper car to run for better performance. The St170 has a sublime chassis but again, runnning costs favour the Clio.

I have an arctic myself, for me its the best colour aside petrol blue for a 182! So rewarding to clean! After a Yozza myself! X

Clio will be a decent compromise from a Fiesta, the 1.25 Fiesta might feel a bit more sprightly as it were but the Clio's are good. I had a Dymanique when i was 17 and it was superb, never once let me down once. I spent money on an outrageous exhaust and some Toora wheels lol :o and some under...

It could be the baffles inside the baffle box failed as oposed to the actual cat itself? That or a clasp has came loose? Have you had a feel about? Jack it up when its cold and see if you can see anything, then have a feel when its warm (obviously the metal will expand once heated) that...

Turini's suit the Mini's better than the Clio's!.... Pricey for the fitment IIRC

Ah right... The drive shafts are different IIRC It will fit but like i say their is alot of hassle involved. Fred or Danny should be along to tell you the logistics of it :)
