what metering mode are you using? could be down to that? try mulit-zone, or whatever its called on your camera... or try spot metering on the sky.....

10-20 is about as wide as most people will need... f1.8 refers to the aperture, the lower the number, the more light the lens lets in. this creates a monsterously amazing depth of field. f1.8 is about as low as most go, usually with the 50mm.

For that pic, probably a 2 with a 2 grad over that. so 4 at the top, 2 at the bottom...... depends on so much though......

go nuts... filter it up a bit. maybe a ND and a ND grad on the sky would help out. then adjust shutter time right up, even going over 30 seconds and use bulb mode for 1 min.... have a play, always the best way!

Been a bit slack with this recently. Have been distracted by knee issues... Went into hospital yesterday for an op, so finally got the chance to relax with time for editing today! Bandages come off tonight, so i think that'll be today's shot... At a wedding tomorrow, which could be a challenge...

Evening all, I initially had an issue with a fuel pump relay, which i eventually realised was because the contacts on the relay were corroded. I assume some water got into the fuel box, right at the bottom where the relays are... I've sorted the relays out, but the wires connecting to the...
