Was at the girlfriends brothers wedding last Friday, I was on crutches post-op so couldn't really get as involved as i wanted.

10-20 is about as wide as most people will need...
f1.8 refers to the aperture, the lower the number, the more light the lens lets in. this creates a monsterously amazing depth of field.
f1.8 is about as low as most go, usually with the 50mm.

go nuts... filter it up a bit. maybe a ND and a ND grad on the sky would help out. then adjust shutter time right up, even going over 30 seconds and use bulb mode for 1 min....

Been a bit slack with this recently. Have been distracted by knee issues... Went into hospital yesterday for an op, so finally got the chance to relax with time for editing today!
