LOL might as well have covered them in hairspray.
Gteqniq C5 will do perfectly, assuming they're actually PROPERLY clean.
Failing that, just don't bother cleaning them :o
How the hell !?
Has she called them.....?
At a guess, the problem would be wether the a-pillar is damaged where the bead sits. Won't know until the screen is off probably.
Any of Jim WD's photos TBH.
[been to look]
Love this ..
I think he must have cleaned it at his Mum's house before getting a unit :o
/retroJim.
Anyway, what about a mid-detail shot ?
Clio tucked away for the night, Dad pops over for breakfast after a blat.. :o
Matching Blues by...
She's either trying to pull a fast one, or is a massive idiot and has gone to a body shop, mentioned the 'I' word and they've pulled their own pants down whilst reaching for the bubbly...
Suggest to her you get a second (or third!!) quote, or failing that her insurance will claim off yours...
Was it raining/cold/snowing between parking and attempting to move off ?
Sticky pads I bet. Wouldn't worry !
However for a precaution, check there's meat left on the pads and if you can, jack it up, handbrake off and ensure the calliper isn't sticky/fubard by rotating the wheel.
Without wishing to sound like a bore, there's about 9,000,000,000 threads on this already, there's an insurance section on here and this is about as useful as comparing the colour of your bedroom ceiling.
Sorry...
Depending how bad they are, and how arsed you can be .. clean them, iron-x them then maybe a quick rub down with some polish you have. Even a going over with SRP from halfrauds won't hurt.
Going over them with C5 will seal them for years, so you've nothing to worry about there.
I suggest you read the guides on here a little more often...
IronX gets rid of iron .. metal contamination in the paint - on wheels, 99% of it is going to be from the brake pads/discs. It's not for 'dirt'.
Sealing wheels / paint is your LSP (last step protection)
Wax is a LSP...
Take the batt out and run it off power cord only .. (used to do this all the time with mine to save the batt cycles).
If the problem goes away, i'd suggest you complain to the "genius" brigade that the battery is duff.
iStat worth a download too.. you can check fans are working etc.
Doesn't sound right !! If the battery is taking time to recharge, take it back. Sounds borked.
