So, how do you turn the TC on ? When you've turned it on, is the dash light on or off ?
Also just out of interest, why do you want it ?! There's zero need for either in a <200hp FWD car.
Is the RAM maxxed out ? Looks like only 1GB but says bank 4... if it's got 4GB it should be quick enough !?
Stick something less awful than Vista on it and see if it springs to life. Looks like a pretty tidy spec even 6 years on !
I'd save the £600, buy a new screen (or two depending on...
Cheers all !
Been doing it long time now .. seems to work ;)
Want just enough sensitivity to pick them out but not too much to over-expose, so 400 works nicely on my camera.
20s is long enough to get detail without being too long to pick up the light pollution in the area.
f/6.3...
I didn't ;) Watch the video. I think it was the neighbour's security light or the car park lights. Unsure...
Yes I know it needs some light cropping and a slight + on the tint as it's a bit green, but it's completely off camera. Composition was a pure guess as the thing was damn near...

250x 20s exposures.
f/6.3 .. ISO 400 .. @ 10mm.
Stacked using software from http://www.StarStax.net
Little video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HS0rhj-zN6Q showing how it's made :o
I love watching the software...
Firstly in this weather ? You're mental. I wouldn't bother until about March ..
However, you want to cover up every electrical item in the bay. Just not worth the bother one bit.
It's a Clio 172 Mug, not a Cup. You'd be surprised how many of these there actually are, usually found on Gumtree/eBay.
Did you specifically want a 172 Cup or are you just curious ?
Wow. Unlucky... at least you're both relatively OK ! I'd imagine you're going to be sore for a few days but it should pass.
Just take it easy :approve:
Without wishing to cause offence ..
The car didn't roll and the cage is only in the rear .. what would you have expected to happen with...
It costs how ever long it takes multiplied by the hourly rate of the garage you take it to.
It'll be an immense amount of hassle and cost, then not telling the insurance means you're not covered when you either roll it into a ditch or crash into a bus stop and kill someone.
Not worth it...
No no .. do 90/180/2000 shots @ 15s, care of the timer you spoon :rasp:
Something like this.. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007H50D0S/?tag=cliospnet01-21
Programmable timer I meant .. perhaps wasn't clear enough.
I did.
You asked if there was going to be any issues washing car mitts/pads in the machine, even though you do already and you haven't had any issues. I said you will continue to have zero issues.
If you do however find out that your washing machine breaks down / bursts into flames / runs...
Just been checking back thru my photos from London just before NYE ..
Thought they were all awful but found a cracker with a little tweaking :o

If it's reaaaaally a problem, keep the shots below 20s instead or lower your ISO.
Get a remote timer thing ;) Single long exposures are very hard to get right.
