I said look at second hand bodies. There's always old ones cropping up (no pun intended) on the for sale board at work ( >2k nerdy blokes on one site ) .. I got Ant a 400D body for £110 the other day and there was a 40D for about £125 not long ago.
450D is always a good start IMO, but it's...
I'm just saying for a little more pocket money, you can up your game seriously ;)
That lense looks fine. Nothing wrong with Sigma .. my favourite lense is my 10-20mm Sigma UWA !!
Just buy a body, if it comes with a kit lense, use that for a while and see how you get on. If you need more...
Yes you'll get 100's of 1,000's of shots out of a sensor. If it looks knackered, avoid. Just like buying cars - buy on condition not milage ;)
As for 70-300's .. depends what it is .. but that should be much better than a 17-300 haha ! Again, like cars (or anything), buying cheap isn't...
Firstly, go into Currys etc. and handle the cameras. I found 2 in my budget, got on with the Canon quite well, all seemed quite logical and simple - couldn't begin to understand the Nikon as it seemed very confusing to a noob compared to the other one.
Find a few cameras in your budget and...
If I spent 15k+ on a new car, I'd want as many miles per £ as possible.
Cars are designed for driving.
Why would you be bothered about putting miles on a car which sole purpose (essentially) is to be driven ?!
As long as it's a 12V battery, it'll work. You could have one from a Transit van if it's 12V .. it's whether it fits that is the issue... a loose battery is dangerous for so many reasons. If it's secure, I'd not worry about it. If it was a battery for a 0.5l Matiz it might not have enough...
Not being funny but Velcro attaches them very very well... stuck on with anything less than 3M super double sided glue tape (which you'll still get off eventually...) they're coming off if someone wants them.
Most are stuck on with screws FFS.
If they were smart however, they'd just note...
1) you're going to keep it all. You know you are.
2) you've already bought a sub to compliment it :rasp:
3) the boy's got a £100 tax/soap dodger budget ;)
4) if you're thinking of selling him my Ruarks when I'm not in, I'd like to remind you I know where you live too...
Read the stickies. :)
Photos are perfect for a generic for sale ad.... however, things you've done wrong (IMO):
Looking down on the car.
Car right in the middle in every photo.
Nothing interesting apart from the car.
Car filling the frame.
Blanked the plates - doesn't look 'natural' as...
RicherSounds FTW.
Keep an eye out for second hand quality speakers.
I got a set of Ruark CL10s and stands for £50 :o They are literally immense. Properly properly fantastic.
They don't make any noise outside ! Done two track days in our 182 with RS192 on - ~86dB noise test and when going past on track, it literally made no noise at all haha !
It's a daft rule that is supposed to stop people driving uninsured - but all it does is hinder 'right-doers' like yourself who have no interest in stealing cars or avoiding buying correct insurance.
Good luck ! :-/
