IMO tho thats not what a type R should be it should be a hi rev screamer if you want low down grunt buy a golf TDI . Never driven a civic type R so can not coment but my ATR has not to bad low down grunt ok not amazing but not bad i would say about the same as my old mk 1 172 .

dont think thats right when the V-TEC kicks in ( YO ) there is some difference i can tell you :) the trick with the type R is understanding how to drive them .
They are so common tho i saw 7 today coming back from Gatwick this morning every one has got one it looks like . Thought they were ment to be fast to LOL Long live old skool V-TEC :rasp:

Keep the Honder you no it makes sence you dont want any of this french cr*p lol . Go for a mk 1 amazing cars had my one for year and a bit and was great fun just watch out for the gearbox .
