Getting my 19k miler on the rollers in January to set a benchmark...will do it annually thereafter for the next 100k miles again. Hoping for gains year on year like my Cup has done.

Mine's on 19k now and still feels ultra tight. The way my 172 Cup changed character from new over its 130k miles was marked.
20k on these lumps is nicely bedded in.
40k is properly run-in.

Came across this one on my way back from the Goodwood Pistonheads meet last weekend.
Not sure I dealt with it appropriately...should I have beeped my horn and shouted w***er out the window as I went past? Or should I have just not bothered stopping in the first place?
I couldn't get any benefit from my exisiting NCD when insuring a second car, so bit the bullet, and paid the price and built up a second NCD.
I wish you could tansfer it...I'm soon to lose my second car, and all the NCD that goes with it!

My cat's being refitted this week for its last MOT in my hands, so I'm having Mike/Dave leave it in place. The last 105k miles have been run with the decat so will be interesting to see if it feels stangled/less responsive.

Next time out I'm removing my 172 Cup brain, and will start braking and entering at 200 speeds. The reason it looked so boring on the video was because I was approaching everything as though I was in the Cup i.e. far to slow for what the chassis can handle.
To add to the debate;
My 172 Cup is undoubtedly faster in a straight line and accelerates quicker when exiting a turn, but, I still reach the same peak speeds at the end of the straights in the 200.
Why's that?
Far more speed carried through and out of the turn. The 200 is so much more...
Yup. Can't figure out why people say they're not as much fun as the MkIIs. The MkIIIs move about just like them...you just have to go faster to make it happen.
First dry session in the 200, tip-toeing and feeling my way around.
Came up on a 350/370Z that was struggling with the lines, but booted it down the straight. I was doing OK until I hooked 4th :evil:

Goodwood is an open circuit 365 days a year so how would/could they refuse?
