500?! That's way too harsh! 800 is too far really. Might be worth going down halfords and getting some wet & dry (1200, 1500, 2000) and going through the grades. There only cheap and you get a few sheets in each pack. In fact, I'm pretty sure you can get a various grade pack in there, but I'd...
Was a good meet tonight. Venue was decent and the grub was not only nice, but cheap too! Lakeside afterwards was a bit of a let down, mainly due to it being too cold. Nevertheless it still was good to catch up with people before Xmas
I did mine also when I recently had the clutch changed. There was the same amount of movement. I went for poly bushes ones.
@dann2707 Billies look good mate, as do the rear hub spacers. Get those front spacers one and all set up correctly and you'll have a perfect stanced oem+ Clio.
Was you thinking of buying Jamie's/my ph1 before I bought it?
You don't see many ph1s on the road and and certainly not many with sub 80k. A bit of TLC will get it looking a peach
Have you got any plans, modifications wise?
Excellent stuff! Glad we come as some inspiration
On such low mileage for a ph1 I'd defo keep it clean and OEM/OEM+ as it's too nice to strip and track.
I will be keeping an eye on this closely
I guess it depends on how well you've jelled with one @Daniel, or how much time/effort/money you've put into one.
Cars are like hot dinners to you so I guess you get rid of them before you get attached!
Photo bucket is crap. It deletes them even if you edit the titles. Plus I think it charges you every two years iirc?
Flickr is much better, plus it doesn't distort your pics. And you can edit and move pics and they still stay on the page you've uploaded them too.
As above, the rears are easy. The bottom bolts are 18mm. I can't remember what the top ones are (17mm?) but I'm pretty sure I read that the bilsteins don't come with the top nuts so you use your existing ones. Renault don't sell them separately either, they only come with new rear shock.
