All this thread has me made think is that silver wheels compliment the monaco, think that shall be the next colour for my f1's.
As for standard 172 wheels they do nothing for me, ive bought two cars with them and sold the wheels with in the month for 15's.
So ive loaded my tool box on already lol,
includes,
full spanner set
pas fluid
oil
brake fluid
coolant
rear discs @ 8 pads.
small socket set
variety of hammers ;)
screw driver set inc torx/allen keys
water pump pliers
pliers
jack
code rear
wire strippers
tape
braker bar
the list could go on...
Thats what I've done but I've got the two bolts holding the plastic gauard under the rad still.
Catches are only needed on the ph1 as the bumper holds on so badly
You don't need to aero catch ph2 bumpers. Just cut the brackets off! My bumper is held on just by where it clips on the wing, no bolts nothing and mines not catching and its pretty low
Impressing birds with clios is the way to go, one time at Eye air field I made a bird in a fiesta wet by bouncing of the limiter whilst she had a flat tyre. Rhys remembers this well tbh
As for Eye we got kicked off on sunday by the police and we were parked up, looks like the place is a no go...
When we went last year we couldve built a clio with the amount of spares we had.
This year im taking,
spare wheels (as many as possible)
Spare fluids for the car.
Jack & a few tools.
Ive always loved this car, even more so now!
The thing certainly shifts also, the best bit is it just goes with out making too much noise/fuss.
Safety devices half cage would finish it off Dom ;)
Ford Roman Bronze is the colour, it is a nice colour but two of them are now black.
Another pikey wheel refurb will start when i get back from the ring, the colour they are going i havent chosen yet :)
Running your nail over it doesn't catch at all, but it doesn't feel smooth on your finger like normal paint.
So how do I go about wet and drying it? What grits etc
just take the fogs and arch liners out? Easiest way if you haven't done so.
Andy that's a shame, but needs must etc! :) at this stage in my life ill say yes ill go back next year but its a long way off ha
Lol! Surely you can sort the marks on your boot? Ill have it and just put a sticker over it ha
as for feeling the damage ill touch it tonight and see, I think it feels smooth but not haven't touched it for a while.
