Its a miley trophy, with bits missing, thats clearly been spanked everywhere.
Ands its not cheap, less than £2k, ie what someone paid for that 170k miler, is cheap.
To be fair, id love to post a video of my saxo starting, unfortunately i turn the key & it just clicks :dapprove: So this film is fairly inspirational to me ...
Assuming you already possess Lewis Hamilton style driving ability, i would attack your car in the following manner.
Brakes - more stopping power = more confidence = later braking = quicker round a track
Suspension - a fully adjustable setup will allow you to hone the character of the car to...
Danny, as you actually have one, i'm just wondering if you have any kind of diff fitted at all? Whilst i understand that s/c is alot smoother than a huge dollop of turbocharged boost, id still expect it to be a bit of a handful at times ...
I ask, as my golf shows fairly upsetting FWD...
I wonder if you'd have the same opinion if you sold M3 parts ;)
+1
Which proves the point, people are amazed at the daftness of chucking £4k at the engine of a clio, so they express themselves via text, in the hope that others will see sense :rasp:
Seriously though, 250bhp through the front...
Yup, it would be massively faster. But faster isn't necessarily more fun.
You need an M3, its much better than an automated response device ;)
Not really, i've be laughing my head off trying to control my RWD monster, not yawning as my s/c clio flattered my driving ability ...
Hmmm, with £4k would i supercharge a clio, or buy a 286bhp throttle bodied RWD legend:

I'd buy the M3.
(edit: i would have done if it hadn't sold within one day!!)
+1.
How is a car reliable if you've had to change the engine due to neglect.
When his cup was for sale at £2k I called him up & asked about maintenance, he hadnt done any at all. Hence why i didnt waste my time going to buy it, despite the fact it was unbelievably cheap.
My cup did 25k in...
Sort of lol ....
More purchases today!! After much umming & ahhing, i had finally narrowed the harness choice down to Luke 2" 4 pointers at £110 or OMP 3" 4 pointers at £155. Finally decided on the latter, went to pay, checked Sax-P 1st and well, another bargain was purchased ;)
Think i now...
Helpful post
A sensible decision, one of the 1st things i bought for the saxo was a cage! Mind you, they're not exactly known for their structural rigidity lol.
Lovely seats!!
Only one thing to consider though, have you thought about what happens when you roll a car with fixed buckets, harnesses & no cage.
Yup, there is a possibility that the roof will collapse on your head.
+1. I've given up on that thread lol.
Spec of the 306, note the huge engine spec:
