I have just read story's of people polishing them and it only last so long before having to do it again so thought new ones would be better. Found a Quixx headlight kit for a tenner on eBay so may give that a good I suppose to like you say keep original ones in. Cheers

Fitted some grooved and dimpled discs with EBC Ultimax Pads and painted the calipers! It stops on a six pence now!!

Yeah checked that it's right up to the metal stopper.
