Evening all,
I would like some opinions on this cylinder please.
Its in a Peugeot EW10 motor.
All the other bores are fine apart from this one, what are your opinions on what to do with it? I am thinking a hone or maybe a new liner? (I would rather not)
Does anyone know what size the fitting is on the right hand top of the standard radiator? It's not drilled out as standard but u assume it's used on some renault?
I am after using that boss/fitting for a project on the 206.
looking good paul! Nice to see some familiar bits!
impressive figures on the engine side, the 206 only made 170bhp after mapping on the same rollers! and that's on jenveys!
Should be a good scrap at the weekend!
That as it may be, I would suggest there are more benefits to be gained from having a bucket seats and harness'?
I would think that you will have a large decrease is spinal and whiplash typed injuries for the majority of the accidents/incidents that you will have out on track? I would also...
Well we made it!
It took a grand total of 4 days, and 9 late evening to get it finished!
To be honest it tried to fight us every step of the way.
The drivers side shock decided to blow up the Monday before the event, so that was a mad rush and mega turnaround from Proflex. Not only that but...
More progress on the pug today,
Got the car back from sw motorsport in Preston last night. Shawn and the guys pulled out all the stops to get the car back to me in time to get it finished for the northwest.
The quality of the welding in immense, equal to the cage I had fitted by RED.
Today...
Update time....
At the end of 2015 i decided to change from the Clio to a 206.
The major reason for the change was the availability of rally specific parts for the 206, and this car came with a spec that i couldn't refuse!
So the basic spec is as follows:
-GTI 180 engine on Jenvey throttle...
To echo the advise already given mate,
Don't bother with the 1600, fit the 2.0 engine.
Here is why,
It sounds as though your on a budget, so parts availability is going to be a big thing. There is much more choice for parts using the 2.0 as a base, from engines to suspension (think weight...
You really have to just go with the best you can afford within your budget mate. (I think you have made a good choice)
Generally speaking, the more you pay the better the suspension. This means better fluid cooling (mono vs twin tube, although not quite that straight forward) better fluid...
I need park. If i just have fast and slow and turn the wipers off, they will stop where ever they are in their cycle.
Where can you buy these magic boxes?
I used the standard pump connector. I removed the plastic fuel line and replaced it with a braided line, secured with a mikalor(sp?) clamp.
Its been fine so far
