Vw festival was on at Harewood House last weekend, and i managed to sneak the Clio in with the VR6 Owners Club. Surprisingly i didn't get tied to a cross and burnt alive ! Here's some pics
Lol, it's been sat gathering dust for at least 12 months ! Not quite finished yet. Bits and pieces to do.
Rubbing strips to fit
Bumper strips to paint satin black
Window / door rubbers to source, although i think i've sorted that one
Lower tailgate trim and front grille and a scuttle to also...
Thanks, and i have to agree. I'm looking round for some different wheels. Would prefer to stay 16". need to be 7" wide on a 42 offset really so i can squeeze some bigger rubber into the arches. Compomotive mo's would have been nice but they are rocking horse s**t !
Haha ! Not repaired the one i bust before yet, the clio's not turned a wheel in over 2 months. Hoping to have a real push on in the next few weeks ready for the spring. Got a couple of small modifications to make :rasp::cool:
It's Andy m8, and yeah it was me you sold the bits to...... A VR6 subframe which is now fitted to the clio, and an engine with a rod out of the side for spares if i remember rightly :-)

Well, as many of you already know, i managed to strip all the teeth from 5th gear on Sunday...... It was a day that was destined to fail from the off...... while driving over to Efi-Parts the car developed a misfire and i felt it was caused by some recently changed spark plugs, so once i arrived...
Bit of an update....
A fair bit of work has been done to improve the clio's handiling characteristics recently. When she first hit the road, the handling was interesting to say the least ! Over 50-60 mph and the car felt scarily twitchy. The trip to french car show was a long one ! it felt as...
Hey up lad ! Hopefully be at pod on the 2nd, although it doesn't look like i'll be running the clio. Been on with some suspension tweaks, and tbh they aint made a right lot of difference :-( Another quick test to try before i take time out, but i should still be there even if i don't run the...
