yeah i would expect that to last that long, the pads on my car have loads left on them but the car hadnt been used very much and when i got it the discs were pretty rusted up, they have cleaned up with driving it but not totally! thats why i think its best to replace them!?

the car brakes pretty well, doesnt pull in any direction when braking heavily just i noticed the discs are pretty knackered so i want to replace them!, as said the sliders might need looking at when replacing the discs and pads paul wont be doing any mods this time! where did you get them...

I think my 182 brakes need replacing as the car hadnt been used that much when i got it, the pad doesnt appear to be touching the full surface of the disc. can anyone recommend any good standard replacements? what make to go for and how much! thanks Dean

cheers! gonna remove it in a bit il see how easy it starts coming, if not il heat it up then use some of that stuff to remove the glue!

just wondering is there any safe way of removing the dealer stickers from the back window of a car. wouldnt mind removing the one on the back of my 182 but having done this in the past its damaged the rear screen demister strips where the sticker has been! cheers Dean

right got a new car which im thinking about going to see, but again this is 200 miles away! 05 Reg, £9k, 1 owner, uk car, silver both cup packs, 16k miles, 1 months tax.

yeah im having the same prob no cup packs but theres barely any within 40 miles of me on the trader, most are over 80 miles away but the auto trader isnt very accurate cars always seem to be around 30 miles further away than they say!

Well in the end i didnt buy the car, didnt think it was that well looked after, had a fair few scratches on it, dent he told me about was more like a crease about 10" long, and the tyres were some really cheap replacements. the boot looked like it had been painted as there was like a finger...

the car has both cup packs, its from motor point and came from france, it doesnt have locking nuts but hes unsure if it has an alarm, how can i tell if its got an alarm, it came with 2 years warrenty and is now out of warrenty

i just found out it was an import as the guy told me, it didnt come up on the hpi! im not that bothered to be honest, il have to check if it has those things id be put off if it had no alarm!
