yeh, Gmail supports push, so just remove the account in the settings, then set it up again through the Gmail option, i set it up for customers everyday and have no probs whatsoever. :)

MobileMe ain't cheap, and I don't pay for it as i get it free through work, theres still a free trial if you wanna give it a go though... http://www.apple.com/mobileme/

Yeh, you have it on "Archive" instead of "Delete"... there is a setting you can change though... got to Settings> Mail, Contacts, Calendars> Gmail> then switch Archive to "OFF".

No Skinny, it's because Hotmail do not support it, give Gmail a go, its free and works brilliantly, however, if you want the best solution for your iPhone, then you cannot beat MobileMe.
Although WhatsApp and Ping! are good, i have found Beluga to be a really good...
i work at an Apple Retail Store, i also read Crappleblog, the guy is funny, but i havent experienced any of the bad things he talks about on there... for once in my life, i can say i absolutely love working there... yeh, its retail, but its fun. better than working in a call centre or getting...
