Yep sounds cool. I love the look and personality of all the 40K stuff - so if you can heavily customise your squad's looks and kit (like a modern day Syndicate Wars) then I'm in.

Not waterproof (not sure why this is a feature you would want - where does your friend play?!?) I don't know if you can turn up further from default, but the scale you use seems to be stronger than default at the top - so quite possibly. It feels like a jackhammer, not sure why you would want...

Elite is awesome. Even without the extra functionality the controller itself is just well built and nice to use. I've had a play around with some of the stick settings, currently using the aggressive mode. Also nice to turn down (but not off) the vibrations.

Definitely. There is some really interesting lore and lots of variety in the different 40K factions so it would be really cool I think. Nothing is cooler than a squad of Space Marines...unless they are Dark Angel Terminator Space Marines. In a tank!

I don't know - he stopped talking to Best for 2 months because Jack was rude to him and Best called him a 'douchebag' and then Jack flipped out. Yeah you get to a certain point and just think 'what now'. My main achievement this weekend was blowing about 500 motes and 500 weapon parts to level up with FWC. Annoyingly I got both the old ships and not the new one. Have the same with New Monarchy - but Dead Orbit I only have the new ship...
