I was using a Aston Martin Vanquish 12 as my S1 on an online road trip last night, have to say it was quality. The problem was the person controlling it haha also really like the Ford RS200 as an S1 :D

You get more XP in online events and you get a bonus every time you go up a tier. I dont see anything about joining people in the car club, only comparing stats. Im sure there was a feature on the original horizon that you could join car club members

Im guessing you will get the option to save it to either the HDD or USB. The crew is OK, i have played it 2 or 3 times since christmas and every time i have played i have moved back to Horizon 2. You can do online racing on Horizon 2, do Online Road trip simples :) but i do miss track races...
