Sack painting all that by gun! I'd be touching in the flag and letters tbh.
Mountune was only really good for warranty purposes, now it's just overly expensive with no benefit really.
Nope, once the downpipe is fitted it will be a full milltek turbo back.
I remember your post about that getting done at your work actually! They look good when done like that, but I can't justify over £100 extra for no performance benefit over the Sitech item. It shall be green whatever one I buy though!
Not too much to update to this, but recently had the car in to Sitech again to take advantage of Revo's summer sale and had their stage 1 map loaded onto the car. Never had the car put on the RR but Simon reckons with the modifications it should be in the 350ish bhp range. The car feels a lot...
Buy plate, receive paperwork, fill in and post paperwork, receive more paperwork, put plates on car.
Then have a minor headache every time you come to sell a car because the DVLA do everything at their own leisurely pace and like to make things complicated.
Not sure if it's been mentioned, but is the block in these safe to take to 400bhp? Obviously in the STs you're risking cracked liners at even 100bhp less than that. Don't know how much stronger the block/internals are in these mind.
Exhaust being so quiet is a strange one. My ST had 3 inch...
Police around where I live are decent in my experience. I've driven cars that are either "too expensive" or "too fast" for my age/baby face since I passed my test and still not had any bother.
The last time I got pulled over was probably a good 3 or more years ago in my 200 because the copper...
Yeah that's the one! 313 at the wheels so probably 330 or so at the fly? The spoiler is awesome!
Function over form, it's not some 17 year old with a fetish for spoilers at least.
Indeed. Draws attention to his business and makes the car quicker. Win, win for him.
Not sure if these will work as they're off FB, but:
His thoughts on the spoiler are that he doesn't care if he looks a tw*t on the road in it as it's taken 2 seconds off his lap time at Knockhill, it's correctly angled to spread the downforce underneath and into the centre of the car...
May be on the Fiesta forum but I'm not sure, was Simon telling me about when I was in getting my intercooler fitted. IIRC it has the Peron kit that detail chris mentioned fitted to it. Huge (functional) wing and splitter etc on it too, absolute weapon.
It's on the cheaper side of average if that's including VAT.
I'd guess you'd be in the region of 350-400 where I work. Doesn't necessarily mean their work is poor mind.
Depends if you have bought the filter for 2004 onwards models. Got a link to what one you bought?
They may both share the same filter, as I said the actual filter element in that box is only a quarter of the size of what you can see on top of the engine. Take the lid of it off and see, will be...
Cheap as possible; full exhaust, induction, intercooler, injectors and a map. May even get away with just a downpipe and decat and the standard catback.
To do it properly though you'd also be wanting an uprated inlet as they're plastic and known to fail and an uprated recirc valve as they're...
The Haynes manual will be for the older 1.2 16v engine probably, they changed it around 53/04 plate cars.
That big black box on top of the engine is actually the airbox, the filter inside is much smaller than that though.
Jesus Christ.
Don't try to rattle can that. It's barely noticeable as is, it will 100% be worse if you go near it with rattle cans. Leave it alone till you can get a professional to sort it.
