Welcome to the club mate. We'll add you to the Yorkshire list and get you tagged for future meets[emoji106]. I'm a big fan of the monaco blue.
@RenaultVirgin another for the Yorkshire list.
I'd wager that Ant's car looks bloody epic in anything other than direct sun, and those that see it will be more impressed by what it is than critical of a few swirls.
Dunno, rwally busy at work atm so getting plenty of ot in. The rings can wait for now, maybe in a few months they will have completely rusted away and I'll just have to fit new ones [emoji38]
Picked the car up this afternoon, all good. Both front calipers refurbed, new pads in and all the air out! He did say that my abs rings are rusted and worn down. Apparently they are the worst corroded ones they have ever seen. To counter that he says my car is a good one and asked if it's cammed...
Cheers pal, I'm running with a cat now as eml light was doing my head in! Exhaust got a bit quieter with it on, still not sure if that's good or bad though.
Try the snapon first see if you find anything. I know my guy had access to clip at the time but don't know if he used it then. He can't get his hands on one now which is why I'm at DDC now.
I didn't have any lights on the dash but it did have an error logged, can't remember what it was now though. Live data from abs sensors showed one rear wheel was doing the 1000mph when the others were doing 30! Only one sensor was broken thankfully [emoji23]
To be fair the abs pump has been playing up since I got the car and didn't necessarily need replacing, it was more of an annoyance than a problem. Other than that I've only had a couple of issues in my first year of ownership so I'm not complaining too much!
Car dropped off at DDC for front calipers refurbishment and hopefully a full bleed of the system. I've done about 60 miles in my car in the last 3 weeks and I'm missing it badly!
Your no claims only lasts 2 years without you having no insurance before your friendly insurance man ignores it. Take it in turns insuring your Mrs car.
Owners are the best people to review the car. Don't listen too much to press reviews, not many people drive their car at 10 10ths, no matter what it is. Owners aren't defending their purchase choice, just giving real world reviews.
