Sorry to bring back an old thread. But Dan519 and everyone else on here what would you say is the lightest, raspiest, loud (but not overly loud) and best for performance exhaust I can buy for a Clio 182?? Thanks
Ohh right must of read too fast and skipped the dci bit. FLOL. Going through this forum I keep thinking it's for 182's and 172's. Keep forgetting that there's actually other types of clio's :quiet:
Cooksports! Made a huge difference to my daily drive. Handling is 100x better and can be used with standard dampers. Cheaper than sportlines but I would say it's slightly better as it looks lower and the drive feels better too. Drove a mates 182 on sportlines so commenting on experience.
Yep I know he's a busy guy! Which isn't really a bad thing tbh as it shows there's a lot of demand for his work. I do need the exhaust to replace my current one so I guess I gotta keep trying. I'd rather wait a bit more instead of purchase one of the other exhausts tbh.
Just looking through the posts and yes that was me that called Fred@BTM. My cousin uses my login details here and there he must of replied back thinking it was for him as he's looking for a new exhaust aswell and was also quite interested in the original yozza. The other day you said you were...
Fred@BTM nope haven't called you yet but will defo give you a ring within the next couple weeks regarding the new one!
I would like to hear one though as I can't seem to find any decent vids of the cat back version of the new yozza! Any links if possible? And how do you think it compares to...
Just put cooksports on, the ride is smooth but really harsh on pot holes, drop is perfect level with tires, handling is 100x better. Switching lanes at high speeds on motorways feels a lot more stable and smoother. Car also feels smooth and stable while at high speeds.
In my opinion: Definately...
Cup spoiler clips: 7701210237 this is the part number for the clips mate they cost around £5 don't really need them but if you really want it that's the part number.
Thanks Tim for that useful tip!
Sounds like id be going for the sportlines in that case as London roads are full of pot holes
and also prefer better handling!
Gona place an order hopefully later in tonight.
I was just wondering how the cooksport springs compare to the eibach sportlines
as I'm looking to get a set of new springs on a standard 182..
Whats the handling like on both.. as Im really keen on improving the handling of this little go kart
What else is there to improve handling??
