Propper gutting that my brother never hpi'd it either.
It's a stunning car all the same though and I'd certainly pay the money you're asking for it as I know the car inside out and it is stunning.
Get a different set of wheels mate you've been rocking the f1's for years now it needs something new for 2014 not just a different colour.
those speedlines are 2110 Challenge wheels in 16", I also think this car would look amazing on a set of anthracite 2118's but they've been done to death on...
It's a shame to see you selling as it was a very good car a few years back and looks to of been kept in good condition since my brother sold it.
I would try hold on to it as you will only regret selling it when its gone.
Sounds promising, can I just ask are you comparing the BC's to the broken sachs or have you had the car long enough to compare them with when the dampers were fresh?
Was at fred's yesterday.....car is a bit dusty on the inside but its had a power wash on the outside. Still looking good just has an empty engine bay. Not long now though I expect then off to get it mapped :)
Hope it is nice and reliable for you mate, I hope it makes expected power but even if...
+1
Glad you're looking after it and as I said, timing is bang on with it. Looks sweet on the 2118's also.
I guess you can get hooked up on figures all day long because with the clio's there is always this horrid deficit you're trying to overcome from the quoted factory figures. IMO it's how...
You may as well buy it off Fred now mate, have the ultimate Renault drive way lol. Would be a tough decision which one to take out though.
Shame the trophy is taking so long, it certainly isn't going to be a rush job lol, Fred likes to take his time with things....and generally smoking tabs...
I'll hopefully get down to malton for a little look at it.
Its not making bad power, last time it was there paul said the timing was bang on and he originally mapped it, so unless you've had the belts done again there shouldn't be any tweeks needed.
Is it still running the BTB?
If you can use the company car for personal journeys then I would sell your 1.2, or insure it as cheaply as possible to keep your no claims bonus going.
One thing to check is that whilst you have the company car, the company and insurer will be willing to provide proof of no claims etc. This...
Love it, apart from the standard wheels which I think are hideous.
If it was mine it would have a nice set of compomotive mo 6's and some kw v3 coilovers
Nah I only go to shows to watch the track action and see other things, I've done most things worth doing to a clio anyway and seen all of the other efforts people churn out, there's just nothing fresh that grabs my interest anymore lol
The Gaz dampers are still under warranty mate so get in contact with them
I wonder if it being lowered has resulted in them leaking more fluid out? Anyway I'm glad its sorted mate :)
Personally wouldn't waste my fuel going to CS saturday just to see more clio's lol, would much rather go for a drive with the chaps from round here and enjoy the cars for what they are, not just things to look at :)
Re: A Mini Adventure ...
Stop being a pussy dave and get the 19% :D
Personally I'd go for the newman 1320 cam, 550 injectors, manifold, cat back and a map...with the new pulley ofcourse, the guy who bought my old MCS fitted a 15% pulley and it was a noticeable improvement throughout the range.
