Evening guys, How's the weekend weather treating you all, have you been out cleaning your trusty stead's?.... I was wondering earlier, are there any meets coming up the next few months now we're out of the crappy winter weather!, Have re-owned the Clio for a whole week now and still have a...
Well considering how shitty the weather was this morning... Early afternoon saw the sun break through the clouds and I took the chance for a cleaning sesh, wasn't planning on 3hours but hey-ho :)...I've added the after pics so you can see. Sorry about the crappy iPhone pictures
Well... DU52 POH has come back home after 10months of being owned by someone else and my god.... i've missed her! last owner has looked after her well and has only added 3k miles on it in 10months, she now currently sits on 100k. From when I collected it this morning to the drive home which only...
I would if I had the room matey, I have 3 other cars and a van at the moment so some need to go hahah.. Don't get me wrong it's a bloody quick car but it's just not my clio ... Plus for the Pembrokeshire roads the clio is just as quick as the Subaru
@Filters, yeah you've seen it there too haha... The RB's are now fetching £6k+... There's only 2/3 on eBay now for example on the whole of the U.K! @MJRacing This one is up for £7k Ono as its been loved all its life with a huge folder of history and has some nice subtle added extras.
Well its been over 12months since I was last here, how time flies! I sold my Berg 172 a year ago after owning it for 4 years and getting it the way I wanted, I went over to the dark side buying a 300hp Subaru Impreza RB5. Ive not 'gelled' with the Subaru since buying it even after wanting to own...

I agree with Jaffa on this one, two reps being more than enough for little old South Wales! Being from Fishguard myself I know of only a handfull of people who drive the cliosports that are actually on this forum withing a 30mile radius! Atleast if we had a east and a west division it opens up...
I work as a mechanic in a non franchised independent garage and we work on all makes and models of vehicles but most of our time is spent with French manufactures. That said, I say 90% of the time the only reason I can find why we repair these cars so often is because people see how cheap these...
I have owned my '02' 172 for a little over two years and apart from wear and tear (Tyres, rear brake pads oh and Aux&Timing belt) the only thing i have needed to replace was the gearbox earth strap as it rotted out. Best car ever owned and got no intentions on selling and its now on 94k.
To correctly tension the belt the pulleys which are fully floating need to be held firstly by a tool so you can slacken the nuts off without turning the camshafts while the "horseshoe" tool holds the camshafts then once the pulleys are spinning you can tension belt. Do it without the pulleys...
I know that PTFE gaskets are not very popular on here but each to their own and im after a set so can anybody point me in the right direction from where to get them as I can't seem to find them apart from K-tec which I think are overpriced and Jam-Sport which sells them with the matched inlets...
As I have been looking into buying a set of matched inlets recently for my Clio I came across these on the Bay. Now I know most things on eBay are shite and to be fair I'm not saying these would be as someone can't judge on something until the product has been tried and tested, As it stands I...
