Same problem with mine, fitted the washers and it wasn't as bad. Sounds weird but check your arch liners, after I fitted mine with the new plastic plugs the noise wasn't there anymore

Only drama was getting the passenger wing off as you have to remove the scuttle and wiper and it's all rusted etc And the clips for the skirts, couldn't be bothered so I tiger sealed them on, have not Moved one bit haha

My first crash was some flashy nob in an m3 tanking it down the a13, smashed right into the side of me after a week of driving, gave it all the I've been driving for so many years bla bla, sometimes it's not always the inexperienced ones haha, too many people are giving this lads hard time tbh
