No. Ive got some ZZ3's on mine. The grip has been good but they have worn unevenly on the rear. The only way to explain it is the inside of the rear tyres look like 50p's. Its got tread then goes to a flat spot then has tread then flat spots. And I havent been doing any handbrake turns in...

Ebay or Camskill mate. A local tyre place should only charge £10 a tyre to fit them.

Go to a garage that has got a camber/tracking machine. They should be able to tell you if anything on the rear is out. Is your car lowered? If so this can wear the rear tyres out. It has on mine anyway and everything is as it should be on rears.

Might be able to go on the Saturday. Where's best point to watch.

It sounds ok mate. It sounds like it used to do until you take it over 3000 rpm. I wasnt too bothered about noise, I just wanted a 172 with 172 bhp.

Sound mate. Ive only just fitted my de-cat but i havent noticed anything yet. Ill get it on rollers whenever a dyno day comes up to get it checked over.

So on a 172 with a re-map and a de-cat there should be no flat spot?

Forgot to add, I have just put a de-cat on and this is the first time i have heard of a flat spot. Can you tell me anymore about it?

Had mine on RSTuning's rollers a couple of months ago. Its got an ITG Panel Filter, Matched Inlets, K-tec Re-map and K-tec cat-back exhaust and it made 171 bhp and 150 ib/ft.

If this goes ahead ill turn up mate.

Might be worth getting some camber bolts to reset the camber back to standard. Should help get a few more miles out of the tires.

Has it been lowered? If so the camber could be out.
