My god... I think you need to get your facts into place before mouthing off. Let me reiterate...at the START of the hill climb, there is a clear warning that fast moving cars are to be expected, therefore you tackle it at your own risk. Yes, I could of hit one of the other cars coming down...

As Jay said, it is so cheap it's not even worth comparing to the UK. Cars are close to 30-40% cheaper and then you have 90p a gallon 98 octane fuel. I've never lived in a cleaner, safer, better city.

It's a drivers road and people are made aware of that before they start the hill climb. That's why there are two lanes going up. Thankyou for the positive comments.

Nah that's the 130km/h beep beep on the clio. Factory law thing here. Managed to hit 155km/h on the straight where the RS4 dusted me.

Well decided to take the 182 and the RS4 out to Jebel Hafeet today, probably one of the best roads/ mountains in the whole of the UAE. Had an absolute blast with both cars, such different styles and feel. It's an hr drive to Al Ain and with de-restricted roads for the most part, I got a chance...

I counted a very 'rough' 16 secs or so for 0-160km/h. I think with a decent launch a mid 15 is possible.

Hey guys, Seeing as Dubai is enjoying a minor coldish spell (16 degrees on the dash) I thought I'd do a quick acceleration test. I can't decide if it seems quick or not. Seems to take forever to hit 160 km/h (100mph). Fluffed the start both times :o . Quick or slow?? You decide!
