That was a really good price you had yours for then Jas! But then if i had the budget to get a mk6 gti i'd be looking at mint mk5 r32's with some change. All depends on what your after i suppose. Non the less lovely car mate.

Really like the mk5's but for the asking price of a good low mileage mk5 GTI i'd rather go that little bit further and get a mk6.

With the vtec units you really have to work the rev range to get anything out of them. The b16b is pretty punchy considering it's a 1.6 but i rarely go into vtec at all unless i've gone out for a spirited drive.

Call me boring but I like the OEM look on the dc2 and my ek9 for that matter. But it looks purposeful when dirty and at least your not shy of driving it to its full potential I may as well have a 1.2 the way I pot around I rarely open mine up.

Just bumping this... Are we all keen for a meet before Christmas? Either next weekend or the weekend after in Cardiff as suggested?

I'm not a big fan of the Fiat 500, but this has really grown on me after seeing a video of it on the Gumball 3000. It's looks like something from BTCC, love it. With its Gumball livery, looks great. Would be awesome taking something like this to Le Man's.
