CV joint is a new driveshaft and it is Do-able yourself if your half decent with a spanner.
Top mounts can also be done yourself if you have spring compressors and sockets/spanners etc.
Thats good to know because ive been thinking about doing mine for ages as they are really blue but I didnt want to spend ages doing them to then go on a motorway journey and find that they look worse than before! Im going to do fogs and rear bumper insert as well in that case!
Acol have you got pictures of your new and old unit side by side? Thanks for the part numbers il check mine out when I get a chance. I bought them new so hopefully if i have the old faulty ones then they will replace with new ones £FOC!!
Mine are 14 clicks from soft on the front and 16 clicks from soft at the back. Possibly a little too hard at the back with the rear stripped out but not really had a play with them.
That does look pretty cool! Where are you going to take it offroad around Edinburgh as I have a vitara (that I'm tryin to get running) and my mates got a big L200! Vitara is standard just now but once I get it running it will be getting some cheap mods done!
Fair play chip thats incredibly good of you to do that! Its nice to read something like this instead of the few threads recently of members scamming other memberss out of money!
Its good to know there are still good people out there willing to help out others!
Saw 2 RS' on Monday in Troon. Passed a silver 182 on the duel carriageway which then parked a few spaces up from me in the car park. No CS.net sticker.
Also a Liquid Yellow 197 parked in Troon.
Either of you on here?
