AHHHH this is doing my nut!!! Janspeed, K-tec, Magnex, Yozza, milltek...WHICH f**king ONE!?!!?!? I want it to sound beefy without soundling the idiots in their honda chav-ics that want a silly boy racer exhaust note!! I also want quality and reliability!
See here http://www.dcperformance.co.uk/uprated/janspeed-exhausts-systems/renault/clio-sport-182.html
Whats the difference...havingf a decat means you will fail the MOT for emissions yeah?
Thing is...I dont like the sound of the Yozzasport one. To me it sounds a bit too brash. Im gonna go Milltek. Ive done alot of online research and it seems that most people are delighted with them. Its not really noise im after just a good aftermarket exhaust.
I used the part number on the second page and the guy found it staright away, he also knew that i was a clio owner haha! I guess no skoda owners are buying them! Pretty shocking that the renault one is priced so high!
The reason I want to take it is simple. The reason we are all on this forum. We LOVE our cars yeah? My example is a particularly good find because of its low mileage. Its still only on 26000 and its my perfect hot hatch. I dont want to get one from over there and the price of them over there is...
Im looking at joining my family in WA...perth to be exact as i love it there. Im gonna take my clio with me. I have joined ozrenaultsport forums but find it a little frustrating the way you have to enter confirmation codes with EVERY post and wait for mods to let the post go up...
Any of you...
Called specialist cars in Aberdeen today and gave the guy the part number on the second page and he found it straight away. He said that his colleague had said that he has heard about them being fitted to clio's. Pretty disgusting how much renault rape you huh?
Result anyway...£10.19 paid for...
Yeah...thing is...i like the carbon splitter but i want to keep the car as original looking as i can so ill go for that one. Thanks for the help guys. Ill get this ordered tomorrow because i have the car in to birchdown in a month. Cant wait to get the cambelt and aux belt done and the 5 year...
So i spoke to the nice guys at Birchdown today and i mentioned that my front splitter on my 182 has seen better days. They said that i should get one from a peugeot 307? They said a few people on here had used that. They said they will fit it for me as it just needs a bit trimmed from it.
Can...
GET THIS STUFF!!
It is soooo good. Leaves a lovely shine on the car and water and dirt run the hell away from it like you wouldnt believe! Easy to apply and pretty easy to remove. Dont be put off b y the old school style tin. Google in collinite 476s and see what people say.
Im away to OZ at the end of this month so im gonna get it booked into Birchdown when i come back. The website is really impressive and instills me with alot of confidence. Thanks for all your advice on here guys.
Fred..can I get a quote from you for the cam and aux belts/kits and the service? I would have no problem coming down to have someone do it I can trust. In your honest opinion, is there anything wrong with getting a renault dealer to do it?
I just called that french vehicle specialist in fife which is only an hour and a half away from me up here in aberdeen and they said they will only do the belts job for existing customers...WTF?
I have given in and booked it into renault for mid november as thats when the service is due...
So get the cambelt done and the aux belt and tensioners yeah? I don't think there is a specialist up here in aberdeen so I guess ill need to price it at the garage I use huh? Should I buy the parts and take them to the garage or should I let them order them?
I have a 2005 05 plate full fat 182.
Its only on 25800 miles.
I know youre supposed to change the cam belt every 36,000 miles but k-tec says it should also be done every five years if that comes before the miles? What do you guys think. Also, is it essential to do the aux belt as well...i...
I like this quote! I feel the same way...my Suzuki swift sport did the same thing but ive wanted a 182 for a long long time so used my SSS whilst it still had equity to get my lovely 182
