Just checked and they dont seem to have any master cylinders for a clio in stock.
I've just phoned renault, they can get me the part for tomorrow morning as the nice guy on the phone put it down as a priority delivery and he also gave me a 5% discount on the part...
Not alot but better...
I've been searching around everywhere for a brake master cylinder for my 172 cup but eurocarparts dont have the right one and specialist renault breakers in acrington told me the cup doesnt have a master cylinder!! WTF??!!
The renault main dealer are looking for at least £130 for one and 2-3...
Hopefully it is just the pads and disks but the braking response is getting worse and worse. Im just worried about this valve at the back that wasnt connected to anything and was loose..
No its a cup so it doesnt have abs.
But the guy at the garage said the bolt was missing from the valve to adjust the balance of braking force from front to back depending on the weight in the car.
Any other ideas guys??
Over the last couple of days my cars brakes have got worse and worse...
The pedal goes spongey and further down to the floor.
I took it too my local garage today and they advised me that the pads and disks all round were near the end of their life but also that the brake bias control valve...
Yeah i thought they were the same as they were both red.
I remember getting taken as a boy to the porsche/ferrari dealership and walking round a a brand new white 959 and a red f40.
Things like that stay with you for life...
I always loved the 959 in white with white wheels... :)
Saw this ph's 2nite and thought the front end looked a bit shocking...
Then saw it was cat c listed...
They have fitted non colour coded indicators as well.

I've always liked the carrera gt more than the std slr.
Saw one on the road coming towards me and couldnt believe how wide the thing was.
Much more of a drivers car imo...
No from memory subway bought this car cheap as a cat d and he knew the history...
He then put it on pistonheads advertised at the price of a mint v6 "forgetting" to mention that it was in fact a write-off to get alot more cash for it..
I know for a fact if I turned up to see a car then I'd...
I think the real problem here though is that you tried to sell the car for the same amount as a straight one knowing quite well it was a cat d, all in the name of making a profit...
Didnt endear you to many people on here I dont think as you were being greedy...
Liars always get found out...
Since everyone seems to be posting pics of their cars I thought I would too..
Heres some of my fav's...
Love the blue when its clean and the turini's...
Let me know what you think!!
Cheers
