Mine jammed shut so car could not get air and start. I had gave up with the car. But my brother would not let it beat him, he accidentally caused an air leak and it started lol
Yeah I am not happy seeing as I bought 4 new ones!
Hankook told me to fit other 2 tyres, said they would behave bad when paired with another brand???? I have not heard back yet since my last reply.
I would push the throttle body open, then just get something to hold it open a little? Place screw driver in there? Holds the flap open. If it starts it might idle high.
Or do you have a 172? They have cable operated throttle body and this won't matter
I have found they grip well the k110's but when I fit to the rear the car is leathal!! Very very floaty when you swerve about. I am currently emailing hankook as i am not impressed with buying 4x hankook tyres over 4x ps3's michelins.
They will be on eBay soon, 2x new unused and 2x part worn.
Someone once said and I reckon it's got weight to it, why add more air and not add more fuel? Plus how unreliable they are I would just stick with standard ones. Large one is £125 a pop! I would put your money into something else.
If it helps mine was noisey, and kept cutting out when I pulled up to stop here and there. It eventually stopped working and my car would not start. I bought a second hand one for £40. Normally they get stuck open and full throttle.
But mine got stuck closed. Prone to fail I have read so getting...
Can the ignition advance be changed on the ecu (gen90) without the car present? I need to send it to ktec for updates you see. Ktec is miles away from me.
Explain which way it would die? I have done 4 k so far since I bought it, when I spoke to ktec he explained it was last mapped on 105.
I will be booking an adjustment ASAP if your saying I am going to ruin the engine.
Thanks for your input mate
It was also mapped several times as things were added I think?
My vauxhall used to be up and down, sometimes it would not react quick enough, odd hesitation on boost. And I know a mate that had this with a golf gti and someone with an evo. I have got to say mine never has any issues above. It...
I had a boost pipe blow off myself, I have done roughly same mileage as George.
I love mine, if it breaks it breaks lol.
It's fun while it works ;)
Most people would say it's too much, but you buy a mint Clio ( cost you top money ) and get it up to that spec ( more money!!) I paid a bit more...
Nice to meet some new people.
When I left my car was still warm lol.
Anyone remember the skyline near where we parked at tescos? Where the name skyline was lit up in red too? I would like to think I left him In a state of shock lol
I went vaux to renault, then back to vaux. And back to renault because the car was made into a mental thing. Every car has something over another one. Astra smooth fast comfort, renault is a riot! Lol. Not as smooth and comfortable.
u
Had a couple and I like, any Astra after that is just bloody ugly!
Green coupe belongs to turbo Tom in Boston. 480bhp, best big power astra I have been in. Eds mapped. Goes like stink, and I mean stink!
I have yamaha and kef set up. Had my yamaha amp since 1999 , It's powerfull and sounds great. None of the small stuff would touch it. But I like the thought of minimal equipment and great sound.
I have a KICKER ipod dock and it fills a room with sound and lots of thumping bass. I love it. Has a...
This looks so good it looks fake. Fantastic detailing on a great colour. Love to know what you paid, must of been a monkey plus for that level of detail?
Car deserved it tho and i bet the detailer loved the end results himself!
I personally would go Sonos, mate of mine has the zeppelin, it sounds good but a sonus with a sub would kick its ring. Plus the Sonos stuff works with the tablets and smart tv's I am led to believe. Nice product to have and build with.
Sonos stuff is pretty good, if you can afford the sub, you have every angle covered, but I will say the smallest speaker sounded better than the mid priced one on its own ;)
