If refering to me. I did want a sensible car. But one I wanted was like rocking horse poo. So I opted for for the cup and my hgv licence to get me away from factory life! :)
If not to me then ignore my post :) lol.
Not saying I am right either laura ;) thats what I thought it was. I have been member on here for a while and with many other club's. I just look on here for ideas mostly and help with prob's I may have :) my car 2 month ago was a 260 horse 2003 astra gsi turbo. I did 30k in it with that horse...
Jesus I have been looking on this site past two months and cant believe how some people love to jump on something someone says. I not picking a fight. So come on guys ignore my silly comment and get back on topic ;) we are not all know it all's. I seem to get the best out of mine however I drive...
Think its the same thing.
Mine has a picture of a gear stick when it lights up. And when you have these mapped they up your rev limit so it must be safe :)
Nice car laura. Late 2003 model too like mine. Wait til the snow has gone and then thrash the nuts off it. Dont change gear til the shift light has been on for a second. ;) it will fly for you. Just watch 1st gear tho, bit snappy.
Going to need a show your 172 cup thread for mod ideas :)
Yeah thats me. What was your user name on there? I was going to go for a trophy but knew it would loose its value quickly. So I opted for a cheaper cup. Good car but should of had this first. 30 years old in a clio aint right. Lol.
And also your car value has just dropped as no one will want to buy it. High tax high insurance and petrol prices going up without anyone kickin off. I remember the fuel strikes 10 years ago, are we giving in now. :( wish I had held out for my diesel audi now. Give it a week or two and see how...
Good cars. I nearly got one. I had a 2003 astra gsi turbo and loved the look of it over the astra h. Sold my astra 2 month ago. Still go to astra meets in my cup and they love it. Lol. I must say I am enjoying the fuel economy more in my cup. :) but I do miss my low down pull from the turbo...

anyone know this car?
i have heard cleaning the throttle body can help this, mines doing the same. i shall tackle this at the weekend. mines had new plugs and leads too. so save your money maybe and clean t/b first:)
i just want this brought up for my 172 mate :D i am his vts mate, i say level to a ton :D my vts has only done 37k to the 172 70k?
average vts on a 1/4 get around 15/16's?
same for a 172 getting 15/16's?
i reckon both cars driven by good drivers would see low 15's together ;)
'F' all in it...
and can i also add that money bags! before he got a bargin was also considering a paxo!
seeing i had a 106 b4 know what to expect from a vts, got scared off the renny in the end :( nice cars tho.
see you l8r money bags!
