Right Boys and Girls, with Winter now thankfully out of the way I'd like to propose a meet somewhere in the East. I know that recently there was a big meet in Bury St Edmunds which I couldn't get to due to working, but I'd like to do maybe a Norwich based meet or somewhere in that area.

I've decided to get my wheels refurbished, due to the fact that every monday I have to fill the front wheels back up due to corrosion on the rims.
I'e already got my self a set of basic tyres, Avon's as I travel quite a distance for work and need some that will last a while. They've been good in...
If it's the one that was for sale in Yarmouth a few years back, I would steer clear of it. It got returned to the garage that sold it 4 times (at least I've seen it there on 4 separate occasions)
All round and fitted, and this is including the dampers as my receipt shows them all together, was £430. I didn't think this was too bad a price, I'll find out how much the disks and pads were separately when I get back to work on Monday and give you an answer

I decided it was the perfect time yesterday to get my brakes, dampers and to sort out the water coming into my footwells....
I have now got all the below fitted. These include Mintex discs front and back, Mintex rear pads, Bosch front pads, Monroe rear dampers and what was intended to be...
I'm in the same boat. Mine need stripping and re doing as they are slightly corroded on the inner are of the rim, air slowly leaks out so every two weeks they need re inflating. Thinking I may give it a go myself as I have access to a sand blaster (no idea what the machine is properly called)...
I've decided to bring my tired little 182 LY back to its former glory by giving it some early christmas presents.
*New shocks
*New springs
*New brakes (discs and pads)
*New wheel colour (currently dark grey turini's, will be silver)
What is best for a 182 that won't leave me sobbing in a corner...
I have just found out that next Saturday I will be away :/ my fault for not forward planning. still though, if anyone is still wanting to meet go for it and I promise I'll be at the next one
