...........in region of a driveshaft. Any ideas if this is easy to repair? I did have the gaiter replaced on the side of the gearbox as had an oil leak - could Renault have forgotten to attach this shield or is it unrelated to this? Thanks

Without this you cannot change the interior temp from hot to cold or vice versa without turning ignition on and off ;-)

Just been out to the car and now washers are both working?!! Any ideas?

Mine seems to be getting worse in the mornings (i.e slighty lumpy) and done over 50k. Imagine the leads and plugs may help? It is almost like the car struggles to cope with lower revs in 1st gear and no other issues during 2nd gear and upwards. Thanks.

I have had problems for months with mine, in the end I shoved a second battery inside the back of the main board inside the key (it may be a squeeze to put the key casing back together) and it works every time!! If anyone else tries this let me know how you get on!! Beforehand it took me...

Crazy, has your key been opened recently? Mine the small switch inside broke and ever since I have taken it apart it has never been 100% right since!

I think this might be the clue - when the button broke inside the fob I was locking the doors manually, wondering if something is out of sync?

You genious, you have saved me of a rather large bill!!!

I now have the same problem, took the negative terminal off and back on. Driving along and was flashed, not only are the rear tails out but also the dials for the speedo & rev counter. Any ideas? Checked all leads, fuses & plugs and all seem ok!?
