Only cleaned them once so far simply because I'm lazy lol. I used soapy/shampoo water and a non abrasive sponge, didn't want to risk using products. Takes a bit of effort but does clean up pretty well to be honest
It's alright from a distance, not brilliant close up but ok for the ease and cost. You may have seen mine at CCS, did my wheels a few days before and they came out ok. Most people I spoke to didn't have a clue they had been done with plastidip!
Works pretty well on the badges, don't need to remove them either which is handy. Did front and back diamonds with it.
(Excuse how dirty it is!)
I think I left 15-20 mins between coats. May not sound like long but it's touch dry within a matter of minutes!
Typical scratched and cut hands doing general maintenance eg changing bulbs, tightening exhaust etc.
Most comical mistake was when under the car changing my seats over. One of the bolts was stupidly tight and after really yanking it came loose however i hit myself in the head with the wrench...
It may be a little late now if you've ordered already but this is what I did. I then had the discount credited back to my card. Have always bought plates from here and can't fault the quality and service
Not a problem :) It's the colour of win IMO ;)
I spend a fair bit of time in Worcester and regularly pass through kiddy so I'll look out for you.
Thanks for the complement, I'm sure I'm easy enough to spot at the moment although the orange is going soon so will be a little less obvious!
Mine have been on for approx 15k miles and have dropped quite a lot since being fitted. I can't get on my mates drive anymore whereas before I could get on no problems. I'd say probably dropped about 40 mm in total
Mine were done over curbed wheels mate. I'm a pikey and didn't want to pay to have them refurbed ;)
Thought I'd give it a go for the cost and came out pretty decent although not sure whether you'll be able to tell from the picture...
Also done front and back badges with it.
Sorry if this has been covered already but I'm at work and don't have time to read the whole thread...
Basically after updating my iphone 4 to IOS5 I thought everything was fine except I noticed yesterday that some of my contacts are messed up and the numbers have been deleted. The contacts are...
My painting experience is slim to none. When I did mine it looked terrible as it went on, very uneven and rather thick. It seems to level itself out though and I found the thicker I applied it the better. I did 4 thick coats within a 2 hour period iirc and it dried and levelled fine.
Sorry mate, didn't mean to sound like a d*ck! Just meant that there's been quite a few things asked and answered already that may be of use to you that's all!

I really love this car, in fact id say it's my favourite BG on here :) I'll be taking some inspiration from it over the next few months and will be watching any progress closely.
I must say though, I actually prefer the cup wheels with the low profile tyres over the turini's...
If you read though the thread I'm pretty sure this has been covered already but I used 3-and-a-bit cans for a set of 4 wheels so less than 1 can per wheel
Heres a few pics of mine fitted at CCS.
I must admit now I'm used to them being a bit firmer they're great, certainly look a load better! I just wish they'd sort out the terrible bumpy roads round here so I could enjoy them more!
Yeah they are black. Easy job to remove though, it's only plastidip and they're cup alloys. Plus as said above I'm on the hunt for some trophy turinis anyway :D
Thanks :)
Yeah your right, I think sometimes it's best to try things and at the end of the day nothing I've done can't reversed so it's all good. I must be turning into a sheep though, got the urge to hunt for some turinis now lol
