It was organised by a local forum. Which are always good at sorting these things out the proper way with police there etc. One fool out of many doesn't mean everyone's the same.
Its in the garage getting new rear wheel bearings, new rear discs (one was cracked), new rear calipers (both seized), braided brake lines fitted and to top it all off a new master cylinder (leaking and seal flipped when bleeding the system).
So quite a lot really! Haha. Not looking forward to...
News from the garage today is the master cylinder is leaking and the seal has flipped inside it (whatever that means) and the bleed nipple on the other rear calliper is goosed so it can't be bled properly. So a new master cylinder and another rear calliper... Yippee!
I've just got my trophy back from the garage today after having two new rear discs and a rear driver side calliper replaced however when I got into the car to drive away there was virtually no brakes. I pumped the pedal a bit and it still wasn't any better so I took I back and told them to drive...
Yeah the 197 guys were all nice. A guy turned up from Elgin with a 170bhp twingo and gave me a shot of it. I didn't even know the guys name!
