Picked this up today, hoping to relive my youth.
Interestingly the developer decided not to release any early copies for review. This could mean one of two things, either its pap or they were making some last minute changes. User reviews look good mind.
Anyone played it yet?
Thank you matey, much appreciated.
There's a guy on the s2k forums that does retrims. He lives in crewe so I can only presume he works for Bentley doing something similar as his retrims look awesome...
He offers a swap service so no wait time and can do different colour stitching, thickness...
Thanks matey, the paint job is truly spectacular. I can't thank Prospray enough, they really went to town on it. If you're ever in need of any body shop work then definitely consider them. I'd not use anyone else having seen their work (even if I lived on the other side of the country).
The...
If you get chance then definitely invest in one, I'm not sure you can lose out financially as they just seem to be increasing in value.
I'm thinking about getting an FN2 as a second car. Only thing that puts me off is the lack of doors as the wife to be and I are looking to start a family soon...
It was a tough call fella but I fancied a change and didn't think it would be worth spunking £400 on a colour that from afar would look no different.
I'll probably go back to silver next time they need a refurb :)
Brilliantly put mate, I couldn't have put it better myself! Ever considered a career in motor journalism :)?
Definitely buy one if you can. One things for sure, you certainly won't lose any money on it.
They are second to none mate...I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. It says a lot when a company doesn't need to advertise their work. They are expensive but faultless. They do spray work for Formula 1 teams I believe.
If you see Andy or Matt when you pick up your car tell them that Alex says hi.
Haha!
They definitely need respect. The back end will quite happily step out without much effort. The OEM tyres need lots of heat before they're sticky enough to be pushed. You just need the talent to be able to correct a slide when it occurs lol. It took me a good couple of years to fully...
They can be twitchy but then that's part of the enjoyment. Most left Honda with incorrect geo so the first thing to do is get it properly setup. With the right tyres and dry(ish) conditions you can really push on. That's part of the enjoyment, when you're on it and you get it right there isn't...
Good question mate. I'd expect a similar age car in reasonable condition to go for £12k+. I paid £16k for mine 7 years ago, I'd not sell mine for a penny less but then a car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
A lot have either been stuffed, poorly maintained or abused. Prices...
Cheers fella!
They're not actually too bad these days. I pay £500 with Flux (garaged, 8k per annum, full ncb, no accidents or convictions).
Regarding the respray. It was done in two stages at the same place. Prosprays work is exceptional but quality comes at a price. There's no Honda paint...
I thought it was about time I created a thread on my cherished S2000. I bought the car 7 years ago from Honda in Crewe. It was a standard Moonrock 2006 GT model with 20k on the clock. It was relatively clean having only two previous owners.
The car was bought by myself before Honda had chance...
I'm after a quality screwdriver set.
I have a halfords pro selection but they're posidrive rather than straight philips. Halfords don't seem to sell many philips screwdrivers unless I'm mistaken?
Just had s2000 resprayed, new hood fitted and full correction/ceramic coating.
Will start up an ownership thread but here are the detailers pics...

Really please with how it's turned out even if it did cost £££££
What's the deal with waxing ceramic coatings (namely glasscoat gen3)?
Is it just a case of applying the wax on top of the coating or would I need to apply a pre-wax cleaner?
Waste of time?
Wax would be AF Desire or Illusion.
I'd normally apply AF Rejuvenate first but this might remove the...
